ZAGREB, June 25 (Hina) - At today's closed-door part of the session, the government adopted and forwarded to the parliament a draft rescheduling of the budget for this year, the government's public relations office reported. The
government has moved the budget rescheduling for two reasons -- to start the process of decentralisation of government authorities, to become effective on July 1, and to consolidate the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute, that is, the payment of pensions via the state treasury. Government officials stressed that despite the moved rescheduling, there still are problems in the budget which could appear by the end of the fiscal year.
