ZAGREB, June 19 (Hina) - The Croatian Association of Unions (HUS) will request the resignation of government officials covering the economy sector -- Vice-Premier Slavko Linic and Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic -- because of the
crisis in the economy, the HUS reported today. The HUS recalled that in Bizovacke toplice on June 15, the Fifth HUS Assembly was held at which Zdenko Mucnjak was re-elected president of the association, and Ozren Matijasevic as deputy president. The association also reached a decision by which the union, in cooperation with other union centres, would initiate the establishment of a joint union front towards the government and employees, with the aim of maintaining the minimal rights of Croatian workers.(hina) lml sb
