VUKOVAR VUKOVAR, June 17 (Hina) - The 2nd Victimology Congress organised by the Croatian Victimology Society ended in Vukovar today. About 200 participants adopted Conclusions where victims of the Homeland Defence War seek the
establishment of the principle of justice, and called on the government and the international community to exert pressure on Serbia to hand over imprisoned persons, provide evidence on the dead and killed, and reveal the locations of mass graves so the dead could have a proper burial. The participants sought of the Croatian parliament to pass a law on the protection of civilian victims of the war, and to protect the rights of Homeland Defence War veterans, the families and parents of killed persons. The Hague-based war crimes tribunal is called on to establish the principle of justice or perish and allow the permanent international criminal court to do the job.
