PODGORICA, June 13 (Hina) - Head of the Socialist People's Party of Montenegro (SNP), Predrag Bulatovic, said today, after last night's meeting with Yugoslav President and president of the ruling DOS party, Vojislav Kostunica, that no
progress was made in the two parties' views on the bill on cooperation with the Hague-based international war crimes tribunal. The draft law stipulates extradition of Yugoslav citizens to the tribunal. "We are for cooperation and punishing criminals, but they should be tried in Yugoslavia," Bulatovic told reporters. He added there is, however, a chance for the DOS's draft law to get support , but SNP envoys in the federal parliament will not give the bill their votes. The dispute will not cause a crisis in the federal coalition government, Bulatovic stressed, adding that a crisis of the federal government and a state crisis have been avoided.(hina) lml
