BUENOS AIRES, June 12 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and his Argentinean host in Buenos Aires, Foreign Minister Adalberto Rodriguez Giavarini, on Tuesday considered political and economic relations. During the talks
they discussed the possibilities of Croatian ports of Rijeka and Ploce for serving as bases for Argentina's appearance on markets of central and southeastern Europe and preparations for drawing up a bilateral agreement on double taxation avoidance, Croatia's foreign ministry stated. Croatia's delegation on tour to South American countries includes also Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac, the chamber of commerce head, Nadan Vidosevic and the head of the chief cultural organisation for Croatian Diaspora, Boris Maruna. During the talks they discussed the possibilities of Croatian ports
of Rijeka and Ploce for serving as bases for Argentina's appearance
on markets of central and southeastern Europe and preparations for
drawing up a bilateral agreement on double taxation avoidance,
Croatia's foreign ministry stated.
Croatia's delegation on tour to South American countries includes

Ministers Picula and Giavarini signed a protocol on cooperation

On Wednesday the Croatian delegation will meet another Argentinean
officials and on Thursday it will depart for Chile.
Prior to Argentina, Croatia's representatives visited Uruguay.
