PULA, June 12 (Hina) - Ahead of tomorrow's joint trial reconnaissance flight in line with the standards and provisions of the Open Skies Agreement, Croatian and British officials held a news conference today, and presented Britain's specially equipped aircraft Andover C MK1. On behalf of the Croatian Armed Forces General Staff, Major General Josip Culetic said the Open Skies project strengthens the international confidence of arms control and security, and Croatia as fulfilled all conditions it was set to sign the agreement. The agreement has so far been signed by 27 European countries and the United States. The Defence Ministry said by realising the bilateral project, Croatia, although not yet a signatory to the agreement, is confirmed as an active subject of building confidence and security in Europe, demonstrating its transparency and intention for joining global security processes.
