SDSS WANTS TO BE PARTNER TO CROATIAN PARTIES

ZAGREB, June 6 (Hina) - President of the Independent Democratic Serbian Party (SDSS) Vojislav Stanimirovic said in the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar on Wednesday his party would definitely not form a coalition with the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP), adding the party leadership would consider a possibility of forming a coalition with the ruling coalition. The best electoral results at the recent local elections, the SDSS achieved in eastern Slavonia, particularly in Vukovar, and in some parts of Lika and Dalmatia, Stanimirovic said at Wednesday' rally, organised by the Serb People's Council (SNS) on the occasion of the SDSS' success at the local elections. Present were representatives of political parties, the international community and Zagreb mayor Milan Bandic. SNV president Milorad Pupovac stressed the SDSS would participate in the authority in all places inhabited by representatives of the Serb community, expressing hope that all Croatian parties would recognise the SDSS as "a partner-party with which they will cooperate with no fear."
