Wednesday. He was addressing a round table on the relationship between science and politics, held at the Rudjer Boskovic Institute to mark the 50th establishment anniversary of this important scientific institution. Prime Minister Ivica Racan and several ministers participated in the debate. They said science must be fully included in a Croatian development strategy. Science representatives advocated stable sources of financing, while politicians spoke in favour of reforms and restructuring in scientific institutions.
