ZAGREB ZAGREB, April 24 (Hina) - Seven spring fairs were opened at the premises of the Zagreb Fair (ZV) on Tuesday by Croatia's Deputy Premier, Slavko Linic. The international fairs, which will last five days, has drawn 1,902
exhibitors from 38 countries.

premises of the Zagreb Fair (ZV) on Tuesday by Croatia's Deputy

At the opening ceremony Linic announced that the government would
intensify its efforts to carry out reforms in the economy in the
coming six months so that the Croatian economy could become more
competitive abroad. The measures to be taken are the continuation
of privatisation, reforms in the state administration, pension
insurance and public health and the measures which will disburden
the economy.
ZV Management's chairman Jurica Pavelic said the first group of
topics of the spring fair were, construction with emphasis on civil
engineering, house-buildiing and equipment. The other group covers
food and drinks (two fair on nutrition and agriculture).
