ZAGREB ZAGREB, April 11 (Hina) - Delegations of the Croatian and Yugoslav transport ministries met in Zagreb on Wednesday to discuss passenger and cargo transport. Talks tackled passenger transport in local border areas, expediting
the introduction of passenger lines between the two countries, bilateral and transit cargo transport, reducing road tolls, and harmonising fees foreign vehicles pay for road use, the Croatian Ministry of Transport said in a statement. Visa requirements were singled out as the biggest problem in transport. Both sides pledged making the issuing of visas to carriers more simple. The talks also addressed car insurance as Yugoslavia is not a green card signatory, which prevents insurance companies in Yugoslavia from paying damages for accidents on Yugoslav territory.(hina) ha
