ZAGREB, April 10 (Hina) - The producer prices of industrial products in March this year were 5.5 percent higher as against the same month last year. According to the State Statistics Bureau, the producer prices of energy in March
dropped the most as against February - 6.2 percent, which is conditioned by summer energy consumption in industry and lower prices of oil products. The producer prices of intermediate goods dropped by 0.8 percent as against February whereas the prices of capital goods increased by 2.9 percent. The prices of durable and non-durable consumer goods in March went up by 0.6 and 0.2 percent in relation to the month before. As against March last year, producer prices dropped only in the segment of durable consumer goods (0.1 percent). The producer prices of capital goods increased by more than 1.4 percent and of energy by 13.5 percent as against March last year. A

The producer prices of intermediate goods dropped by 0.8 percent as
against February whereas the prices of capital goods increased by

As against March last year, producer prices dropped only in the
segment of durable consumer goods (0.1 percent). The producer
prices of capital goods increased by more than 1.4 percent and of
energy by 13.5 percent as against March last year.
According to industrial branches, the producer prices of energy,
gas, steam and warm water in the first three months of this year
dropped by 2.6 percent as against the same period last year.
The producer prices of rubber and plastic products dropped by 2.5
percent as against the first quarter last year.
Although the producer prices of oil products and crude oil and gas
dropped in March by 2.4 percent as against February, the prices of
these products increased the most on the annual level - 18.4 percent
for oil products (33.3 % as against last year's first quarter) and
18 percent for crude oil and gas (or 29.1 percent as against last
year's first quarter).
