BELGRADE, March 25 (Hina) - Yugoslav joint military and police troops entered the almost 170-kilometre long and one and a half kilometre wide belt along Serbia's border with Montenegro and Kosovo. The only region where the operation
has not been completed is near the Medvedja municipality on the south Serbian border. After last week's entry into the five-kilometre long buffer zone on the border with Macedonia, Yugoslav troops have been deployed on about 230 square kilometres of the border belt, in agreement with the UN-led KFOR. Today's operation was agreed on by KFOR commander, General Carl Cabigiosu, and Yugoslav armed forces commander, General Ninoslav Krstic. In the early morning hours the police and army entered the C-West zone and during the afternoon into the A zone. (hina) lml
