OSCE MISSION ORGANISES FORUM OF CROATIAN, BOSNIAN BUSINESS PEOPLE

HRVATSKA KOSTAJNICA, March 21 (Hina) - The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Croatia organised in Hrvatska Kostajnica on Wednesday a business forum with the aim to facilitate business contacts and joint commercial projects, investments and trade cooperation on the local, state and international level in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. According to a statement issued by the OSCE Mission to Croatia, the purpose of the gathering was to help restore contacts between trade partners from both sides of the Croatian-Bosnia-Herzegovina border in areas covered by the OSCE regional office in Kostajnica, including Novska, Dvor, Hrvatska Dubica, Donji Kukuruzari, Sunja, Majur, Jasenovac and Lipovljane. The event was attended by about 100 business people from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, representatives from financial institutions, Croatia's local and state authorities and embassies and international organisations and agencies. The forum was organised by the OSCE Coordination Centre in Sisak within OSCE's general drive to help revive economy and normalise life in Croatia's war-affected areas, the statement said.
