ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Chinese-Croatian relations are improving continually and the time has come for the economic cooperation to improve, Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji said during talks with Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula in Beijing on Monday. Picula, who is on an official visit to the People's Republic of China, to last several days, met in Beijing today Prime Minister Zhu Rongji, Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan and the Vice-President of the Chinese People's Congress, Jiang Chunyun, the Croatian Foreign Ministry reported. Zhu stressed Croatia's role as a factor of peace and stability in South-East Europe and conveyed China's support for Croatia's decision to integrate in the European Union as soon as possible. Zhu thanked Picula for the policy of a single China the Croatian government has been advocating consistently. This was one of the topics Picula discussed with his counterpart Tang Jiaxu
