Delegation to Croatia, and Wolfgang Greessman of the German humanitarian organisation Arbeiter Samariter Bund's (ABS) office in Croatia signed an agreement on behalf of foreign donors with Petrinja mayor Ivan Kovac and Sisak-Moslavina County prefect Djuro Brodarac in the village of Gornja Bacuga on Monday. This is the second agreement on the financing of the reconstruction of destroyed houses, municipal infrastructure, schools, day-care centres and other housing and business facilities in the Petrinja area. Another ceremony, marking the completion of reconstruction works
on 100 houses in the villages of Gornja Bacuga and Pecka and the town
of Petrinja was held in Gornja Bacuga today. The reconstruction
works were financed by the ASB.
So far, the power and water supply systems, phone links and houses
of Serb returnees in Gornja Bacuga, a Serb-populated village, have
been reconstructed with international donations.
