ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party bench at the Parliament's House of Counties will on Tuesday file a complaint to the Constitutional Court and request an annulment of the decision of the House of
Representatives on amendments to the Constitution, holding the decision was made without the prior voiced opinion of the Upper House. The largest opposition party, and majority party at the Upper House, is supported in this by MPs of the Croatian Party of Rights/Croatian Democratic Party bench, as well as the HDZ party bench at the Lower House. They assessed going for amendments to the Constitution without an opinion from the House of Counties is "violence of the law, a normative coup d'etat".
