CROATIAN PARLIAMENT DELEGATION TO VISIT BRUSSELS

ZAGREB, March 16 (Hina) - A Croatian parliament delegation will visit NATO and the European Union headquarters in Brussels between March 18 and 20 to discuss NATO's role in the Balkans and relations between the European Union and Croatia, the Croatian parliament's foreign policy committee told Hina on Friday. The Croatian delegation, led by Zdravko Tomac, also includes Ivo Slaus of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Ivo Skrabalo of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), Zeljko Glavan of the HSLS, Petar Turcinovic of the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS), Zlatko Kramaric of the Liberal Party (LS), Josip Torbar of the Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS), Zdravka Busic of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Tonci Tadic of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) and Jadranka Reihl Kir of the SDP. The Croatian delegation, led by Zdravko Tomac, also includes Ivo Slaus of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Ivo Skrabalo of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), Zeljko Glavan of the HSLS, Petar Turcinovic of the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS), Zlatko Kramaric of the Liberal Party (LS), Josip Torbar of the Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS), Zdravka Busic of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Tonci Tadic of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) and Jadranka Reihl Kir of the SDP. During the visit to Brussels, the Croatian delegation will participate in a series of presentations and discussions on NATO's role after the cold war, particularly in the Balkans. They are also scheduled to hold talks with NATO Secretary General George Robertson.
