MOSCOW SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT MOSCOW, March 13 (Hina) - The mayors of Moscow and Zagreb, Yuri Luzkov and Milan Bandic respectively, signed in Moscow on Tuesday an agreement on friendship and cooperation between the two cities.
Zagreb and Moscow, although different in size, have similar problems, like transport and unemployment, which they have to solve for the benefit of their residents, Luzkov said after the signing. He supported plans for economic and cultural cooperation between Zagreb and Moscow, in particular the establishment of a trade chamber in Moscow, and cooperation between Croatian and Russian companies. The Moscow mayor said Croatia and Russia were no longer connected by ideology but only the will for mutual cooperation. Zagreb Mayor Bandic said today's agreement opened a new page in Croatian-Russian cooperation, and invited Luzkov to visit Zagreb this summer.(hina) ha
