ZAGREB, March 13 (Hina) - Ljerka Ercegovic, a former chairwoman of the management of the Croatian Postal Bank ("Hrvatska Postanska Banka"), who is under suspicion of having embezzled 34 million kuna (some 4.12 million US dollars) from
the bank, will be extradited from Italy to Croatia on Tuesday evening, an official in the Croatian Justice Ministry, said this morning. Ercegovic, escorted by officers of the Croatian Interpol office, is expected to arrive at the Zagreb airport at 09.25 pm on board "Croatia Airlines" plane which flies from Rome to Zagreb. Ercegovic was apprehended in Italy on 11 January, two days after an international warrant for her arrest was issued. An investigation against this banker was launched last summer as she was under suspicion of embezzling money and abusing her office, being encouraged by Miroslav Kutle one of first Croatian 'tycoons'
