ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - To prevent the entry of foot-and-mouth disease, Croatia has issued a temporary ban on the import from all countries and transport across its territory of live domestic cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, and hoofed
wildlife for the period of March 2-16, the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

The ban will last 15 days, the longest period of incubation for
foot-and-mouth disease. Further measures will be passed
subsequently, depending on the condition of the disease in Europe.
