BELGRADE, Feb 27 (Hina) - The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (consisting of Serbia and Montenegro) will propose general settlement to countries established in the area of the former Yugoslavia during the negotiations on the succession
to the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY), the Yugoslav central bank's governor, Mladjan Dinkic said on Tuesday. At his meeting with representatives of commercial banks in the FRY, Dinkic expressed hope that this might be a basis for a part of means to be given to the current Yugoslavia in April. Belgrade suggests that each country-successor should retain the property of the ex-federation (SFRY) which is on their territory. According to Dinkic, this has been suggested to negotiators of those countries and they have had nothing against it.(hina) sb ms
