NEW YORKERS NEW YORK, Feb 27 (Hina) - The first Croatian language course began Monday night at the Queensborough college in New York. Out of the several dozen interested, about twenty have been registered for the first group of
attendants. The course is intended for adults, and the first group mostly comprises Americans of Croatian origin who do not know the language of their ancestors. Class will be held on a weekly basis. The Croatian language course was initiated by Edo Bruvnjak, a professor at Queensborough and originally from Istria in Croatia. The Croatian Consulate General in New York assisted with the realisation of the idea.
