CROATIA'S SENIOR OFFICIALS TO VISIT LEADING EURO FINANCIAL CAPITALS

Autor: ;MSES;
ZAGREB, Feb 26 (Hina) - Croatia's Deputy Prime Minister Slavko Linic and Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac will tour Paris, Vienna, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Amsterdam to hold talks with European investors, from 26 February to 5 March, the Finance Ministry stated on Monday. Their talks will revolve around the sales of Croatia's Eurobonds, worth some 500 million euro, during the period between seven and ten years. The arrangers of this issue - Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan - count on the good price for Croatia's bonds regarding the latest improvement of the country's credit rating. This issue, along with the recent issue of the so-called samurai bonds totalling 215 million dollars on the Japanese market, should help cover Croatia's foreign debts. As regards the European market, Croatia's last issue of bonds was in the spring 2000, with the five-year-long period of payment and a 7-percent annual interest rate.(hin
