ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - The United States Embassy in Croatia said on Wednesday the U.S. Department of State would earmark $7.5 million to facilitate the return and reintegration of refugees and displaced persons to Croatia's formerly
war-affected areas. The U.S. Agency for International Development will donate $10.5 million from a SEED programme for 2000 and $11.3 million from the same programme for this year. The sums will be allocated for activities related to return and reintegration, the Embassy said in a statement. Said activities include the renovation of power and water supply systems and municipal buildings, and supporting economic revival and the reintegration of the community.
