The three companies have equal shares in the newly-established
firm, which will be headed by Ante Zedelj. The basic activity of the
firm will be the completion and construction of natural gas supply
networks, which is to facilitate the construction of urgently
needed infrastructure and help Croatia in its economic
development.
Croplin will, in cooperation with partners from private and
municipal sectors, establish gas companies, take part in existing
gas supply firms, and compete for concessions for natural gas, INA
reported on Thursday.
MVV Energie AG, which is based in Munich, has been active in
Germany's power industry for more than 100 years. It has been
supplying gas to the town of Mannheim and neighbouring areas, and
managing 1,200-kilometre-long pipelines.
Thuega has long-standing experience in the construction,
development and operation of power production companies. It is
present in 60 German companies which are supplying water and power
to a market of more than 3.5 million consumers.
