The vice president of the association of Croatian police war
veterans, Zeljko Spolodor, told Hina that the intervention police
said they did have a warrant to remove the tree but did not show it.
He said protesters showed no resistance.
"Such an act is not in line with the Christmas spirit and is a
disgrace to the government," Spolodor said.
