According to a statement issued by the Economy Ministry after
Jurcic's meeting with the Israeli guests on Tuesday, the two sides
agreed that there were great possibilities for the enhancement of
cooperation in high technology, environmental protection, water
management, irrigation, telecommunications, software, security
issues (the control of airports, harbours) etc.
The foundation of the joint committee for economic cooperation was
envisaged in an agreement on economic cooperation signed by two
countries in August 2000.
Minister Jurcic will officially visit Israel in early 2003.
The Israeli delegation, led by Rami Gutt, paid a visit to Croatia on
24-26 November. This trip was organised by the federation of
Israeli chambers of commerce.
