The structure and scope of work for these agencies would be
determined through special regulations.
The document presenting this idea that was put together by the
Defence Ministry recommends an approximate number of staff
required. Their final number with a basic job description and
specifications of qualifications that will be compulsory will be
prescribed by a rule book on internal activities of the ministry
that will come into force within 60 days after the defence minister
passes the decree.
As foreseen, the decree will come into force on the day of its
adoption, which means Defence Minister Zeljka Antunovic should
have the said decree in force by December.
The decree, amongst else, foresees that the ministry would remain
in charge of the Armed Forces General Staff. The internal structure
of the Armed Forces will also be regulated by a separate decision by
the Supreme Commander with the agreement of the defence minister.
