This process is not related to the trial of the so-called Gospic
Group, in which Rozic is cited as the second indictee accused of war
crimes committed in 1991.
This investigation has recently been extended to a case in which one
woman in the Ostrovica village had been killed in the explosion of
an explosive device allegedly planted by Rozic in September 1998.
The investigation was launched by the State Prosecutor's Office in
Rijeka after Rozic had to be set free because the duration of
detention as stipulated by law expired.
Rozic is now in custody in Gospic.
