Mesic on Friday participated at a round table in Austria's
Schlaning castle on the 20th anniversary of the opening of the
Austrian Peace Centre.
"I know nothing about that. I don't know why Croatians would be
against me," Mesic said in reply to a reporter's question.
Croatian and Austrian official sources confirmed that Austrian
police on Wednesday arrested and detained two Croatians in whose
car explosive and weapons were found during a routine check.
