The international community will not be present in the province for
another 10-12 years, as previously planned, said Steiner, adding
that all tasks had to be completed sooner.
Asked how much last year's terrorist attacks on the United States
had changed the UN Mission to Kosovo, Steiner said the attacks had
changed the duration of international missions, including the one
to Kosovo.
