Ministry of Science confirmed on Thursday.

Nuclear Sciences, near Belgrade, from reactors that have not been

"Ridding ourselves of this dangerous matter, which could have been
used to produce nuclear weapons, 'Vinca' ceases to be a potential
target for any possible terrorist attacks", a statement issued by
the Science Ministry said.
The transport of this dangerous matter from Belgrade was secured by
strong police forces. Access roads between Belgrade and Nis were
blocked and special police forces were stationed along the entire
highway with automatic weapons and gas masks. The city was also
patrolled by helicopters.
