The agreement on cross-border cooperation with Slovenia according
to Tomac has been politicised and is being utilised as a tool in all
the unresolved issues in Croatian-Slovenian relations.
He reminded that Croatia considered its relations with
neighbouring Slovenia as important and inter-state agreements
signed by both countries should be respected by both sides.
According to Tomac, MPs should soon discuss a document that
unsatisfied fishermen in Bujstina and western Istria refuse to
accept.
Tomac reminded that the issue of the border on the sea in Piran Bay
can be resolved in three ways, continuing Croatian-Slovenian
negotiations, reaching an agreement to international arbitration
and respecting temporary navigation regimes in the bay.
