refrigerators, colour TV sets, and washing machines; more than a
half own cars, while dishwashers and microwaves are among the least

According to data on durable goods from the latest survey on
household consumption in 2001, the most frequent durable goods in
Croatian households are refrigerators - close to 92 percent of
households own refrigerators, while more than 90 percent have
colour TV sets.
The least frequent durable goods are motorcycles - only 2.6 percent
of households own them; only every thirteenth household owns a
microwave, while only every tenth household owns a dishwasher.
Fifty-three percent of households have a car, and 13.5 percent a
PC.
Washing machines are used in 86.4 percent of households, while 69.9
percent own a freezer.
Almost two-fifths of households (39.8 percent) own a video-
recorder, and slightly more than one-fourth (27.3 percent) a hi-
fi.
Only six percent of households own two cars, while 7.7 percent have
two TV sets.
The survey included 3,309 households.
