ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - Resigned Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan and the President of the Indian Parliament, Manohar Joshi, on Tuesday discussed terrorism and the improvement of economic relations, the government's public
relations office said in a statement.

Racan and Joshi, who is heading an Indian delegation on a visit to
Croatia, stressed the importance of economic cooperation and the
need to improve it, one of the ways being mutual visits by
successful businessmen.
Joshi informed Racan about India's plans to become a permanent
member of the UN Security Council and other activities in the field
of foreign policy related to the fight against terrorism.
Croatia and India condemn terrorism and strongly support the
prevention of any of its forms, it was said at the meeting.
The Indian delegation, which today met President Stjepan Mesic and
Parliament President Zlatko Tomcic, will be visiting Split on 10-12
July.
