Exploration works being conducted by a joint operative company -
INAgip d.o.o. - have increased available reserves by almost 20
billion square metres. The Ivana accumulation gas field has been
located which is already in function as well as the Ika, Ida,
Annamaria and Marica fields.
A working plan of the production system foresees the construction
of nine (9) new production platforms, drilling and equipping 18
drill sites as well as laying an underwater 120 kilometre long gas
pipeline. One arm of that network should connect offshore
production with the Croatian coastline (Pula).
In addition, the plan encompasses the construction of the Ivana K
platform immediately alongside the Ivana field which will collect
all the gas produced, then compromising and drying it and after it
is measured, it can be shipped off directly towards Croatia or/and
the Italian coastlines.
