Mihajlovic on Monday wrote a letter to Serbia's Prime Minister
Zoran Djindjic, government, parliament, and the leaders of the DOS
coalition, requesting an urgent parliamentary debate on the work of
the Interior Ministry.
Mihajlovic told RTS the State Security Service had intelligence
data on alleged plans by domestic and foreign elements who wanted to
destabilise the government, primarily by attacking the DOS
coalition and the Serbian Interior Ministry.
Mihajlovic said the minister and state security heads were the main
targets. He added the subversive elements intended to compromise
and divide the DOS leaders and that, according to available
information, they would not refrain from assassinations.
Mihajlovic and the Serbian Interior Ministry have recently been the
object of frequent criticism for unresolved murders from the time
of both the Slobodan Milosevic and the current regime.
