Consolidated revenue amounted to 88.77 million euros or three per
cent more than that planned, while expenditure amounted to about 80
million euros or 0.5 per cent more than intended.
Almost 60.1 per cent of last year's revenue was brought in from
foreign markets. Exports last year amounted to 46.4 million euros,
which is 1.8 per cent higher than exports for 2000, and 12.9 per cent
more than estimated.
Significant efforts were undertaken to position the company on
markets of the former Yugoslavia, where foreign branches were set
up with their own retail outlets.
Vidacek stressed that about 2.7 million euros were spent on
importing equipment, which is in continuation of investing in the
factory.
This year the company has continued with development plans and
investments geared towards exporting and developing its own brand
of clothing items.
