RIME, June 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, who is
leading a delegation to a meeting of representatives of 108
countries of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), on
Tuesday held talks with FAO director Jacques Diouf. #L#
Mesic and Diouf exchanged views about the course of the ongoing Rome
summit which analyses the progress in the fight against hunger
achieved since the adoption of the programme in 1996.
The two also exchanged views about a FAO programme which is being
carried out in Croatia.
Mesic invited Diouf to visit Croatia soon.
