The faster issuing of visas will be made possible with the
introduction of computer technology in the Croatian diplomatic
mission in Belgrade. Yugoslav citizens who frequently travel will
also be issued unlimited entry-exit visas and the possibility of
issuing group visas for tours is also being considered, the
statement says.
The government approved $US37.390 from the "Kralj Zvonimir" fund to
assist the organisation of the coming election in Bosnia-
Herzegovina to be held October 5, 2000, i.e. to motivate Bosnian
citizens living in Croatia to register and vote at the election.
The Croatian parliament was submitted with a bill on the
confirmation of an agreement among Croatia and the International
Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International
Association for Development regarding the co-funding of a project
involving the cultural heritage in Bosnia-Herzegovina. With the
agreement, Croatia is to offer $US500,000 to co-fund the
reconstruction of the Old Bridge and fortress in Mostar.
