The five ex-officers are already in custody in Banja Luka, the UN
spokesman in Bosnia, Alun Roberts, told reporters in Sarajevo on
Thursday.
Matanovic and his parents were listed as missing since September
1995. Initially, Republika Srpska authorities rejected any
responsibility in connection with this case.
The Bosnian House for Human Rights in 1997 ruled the Bosnian Serb
authorities were obliged to investigate the case.
The entity's Interior Ministry then launched an investigation
during which the bodies of the priest and his parents were
discovered in a well in Biscani, a village near Prijedor.
The investigation showed that the three were killed with firearms,
at close range.
