Burkart held a lecture at "Opera" Hotel on the subject "Deutsche
Welle's Work on Supporting Croatia in Process of Rapprochement with
EU", organised by the Konrad Adenauer foundation.
Croatia is on the way to the EU and NATO, and people want to know
everything about it, which is the task of the media, including the
DW, she said.
The Konrad Adenauer foundation was established in 1964, its chief
activity being political counselling, cooperation and education.
It has some 60 offices across the world. The foundation has been
active in Croatia for more than a year, promoting and endorsing the
development of democratic structures.
