ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - The legal representative of some Croatian depositors with Slovenia's Ljubljanska Banka, Bozidar Vukasovic, on Thursday forwarded a letter to the Slovene Embassy in Zagreb pointing to "the media censorship of
this issue in Slovenia." Vukasovic told Hina he had also sent a letter to the European Commission, "warning about Slovenia's conduct before admission to the European Union." He will also send a letter to the U.S. State Department and Finance Ministry, "given that their experts are involved in discussions (on the issue) being held at the International Bank for Settlements in Basel." Vukasovic confirmed he had sued Ljubljanska Banka before a Trieste, Italy court on Jan. 30. He expects the first hearing on March 4.
