According to the results, the second day of the trial, when Milosevic spoke at the very end of the day, was followed by 46.7 percent of the population, and on the third day, when only Milosevic spoke, 50.3 percent of Serbians watched. People questioned about Milosevic's opening speech gave him a high score, although a large number assessed it as utterly negative. His speech was marked on the scale from one to five, five being the best mark. The average mark given to Milosevic's court appearance is 3.64.
