WASHINGTON, Feb 16 (Hina) - The bankruptcy of the US corporation Enron confirms that we were right to believe that our first contract with Enron from 1999 was unfavourable and when we insisted on new contracts, which were signed in
September 2000, Croatian Power Industry (HEP) director Ivo Covic told Voice of America. "Our business relations were very complex... we can't say that Enron's not being able to respect the contract has caused us any great damage because the amount of energy we received from Enron was not significant," Covic said. HEP and Enron are yet to consider whether and how their business relationship will be resumed, Covic said, adding he hoped for a favourable solution.(hina) rml
