ZAGREB, Jan 30 (Hina) - The Democratic Centre (DC) parliamentary bench requested on Wednesday that a debate on the current stand-by arrangement between Croatia and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) be included in the agenda of the
20th parliamentary session. The proposal has been supported by 53 deputies, the party bench said in a statement. The party recalls that the parliament has never discussed such important documents, which contain very clear measures of economic and financial policies and implementation deadlines, however, it must discuss them. The party requests that the parliament establish if the measures of economic and social policies, which have been carried out in line with the IMF documents, are in compliance with the government's election programme. The DC also claims that the government can sign a new stand-by arrangement only on the basis of a parliamentary decision because of far-reaching
