Vujic said on Friday.#L#
Speaking at a press conference in Zagreb, Vujic said that the Ministry
of Culture should be supported as a separate ministry especially today
in the process of globalisation when cultural diversity and Croatia's
cultural identity should be preserved.
Vujic said that this had also been shown by the conference in Opatija
this autumn, which brought together 70 culture ministers and about 140
delegations who adopted a declaration on the protection of cultural
diversity.
Vujic, as a representative of the government, and the
secretary-general of the Cultural Workers' Trade Union, Ferdo Boban,
today signed a collective agreement for employees of cultural
institutions who will be paid from the national budget.
Boban thanked the minister for cooperation, saying that the agreement
signed was the result of the very good cooperation between them.
