Mumlek, a member of the so-called Secretariat of Internal Affairs
of the Autonomous Region of Krajina, is charged with having
mentally and physically abused civilians in a prison in Beli
Manastir after the occupation of the eastern region of Baranja by
Serbian forces.
Mumlek said today he would defend himself by remaining silent.
The trial resumes tomorrow with witness testimonies.
