The decision to hold the rally, staged between 10 am and noon, was
made by the Centre for the Protection of HVO Pensioners' Rights due
to what it says is the undermining of their basic human rights and
the revocation of war veterans' rights by the authorities of
Bosnia's Croat-Muslim entity.
The latter refers primarily to overdue pensions of former HVO
members.
If there is no agreement with the entity government, the Centre says
it will blockade Doljani in a few days once again, but for a longer
period of time, and that other border crossings might be blockaded
too.
