The event was organised by the Croatian office of the World
Conference on Religion and Peace (WCRP).
Representatives of the Roman Catholic, Eastern-Rite Catholic and
Serb Orthodox churches, as well as the Islamic community, the
Macedonian Orthodox Church, and the Evangelical, Baptist and
Jewish communities in Croatia participated in a joint prayer that
was said on the occasion.
The concert was performed by the choirs of those religious
communities.
The head of the programme, Mihael Montiljo, leader of the mixed
choir "Lyre", expressed satisfaction with the fact that the concert
had entered its second decade.
He also recalled that the WCRP Croatia had been active for almost 12
years.
